Assalamun Alaikum

Today we continue with the tradition about Thaqalain, as I mentioned before that I will explain in part 2 about attachment of Ahlel Bait and Quran. We'll find out how these two weighty things were able to attach together in two ways. First way to know the knowledge Ahlel Bait have and the second way about how Quran is mathematical arranged.

Recently an article was brought in our forum by Abdulwaheed about how a child of five years has been able to memorise the entire Quran. Not only that, but this child is able to memorise Nahjul Balgha and he was able to learn the Arabic language. The people called it as miracle. This child now has a degree of Doctor. But people did not wonder how Ahlel Bait were able to memorise and translate the entire Quran without being taught by any teacher or human being. Quran is a book enlightening everything and every type of education, no has it left anything but our knowledge regarding Quran is very little we can not comprehend Quran well. That is why we find out the Quran has superseded the progression of the science knowledge. Several recent science knowledge discoveries were already found mention in the Quran. Muslims were reading those verses in the Quran but were not aware of its meanings. Today Muslims are proud that they were able to establish this foundation of science knowledge that brought the technology to the current status, while in those days the Europeans treated the science education as something unacceptable.

To describe Ahlel Bait requires a book, but briefly I will explain what was written in the book "Tuhfaa Ithna Asharia" wrote by Muhaddith of Delhi that Abu Hanifa said 'he never saw a person knowledgeable as Jaafar bin Muhammad and if were not two years he used to be the student of Imam then he would have been ruined. "

And here then we will understand that Glorious Quran has deeply penetrated into their body and their spirit, thus is the meaning the Quran and Ahle Bait are attached together and shall never part.

The second method is the mathematical arrangement of Quran. I guess you know an Egyptian person known by name as Dr Rashad Khalifa, who was the resident of Tucson, Arizona in America, he came across the discover of how Quran was mathematical arranged by number 19. He has taken these numbers from the chapter of Muddassir verse 30. But unfortunately he was over power by Satan later to claim himself as Messenger ‘Rasul’. If you have not heard about him I will provide a small example. Take example of chapter Baqarah you will see the beginning starts with Alif Lam Mim. He calculated all Alif contained in this chapter through computer and get the total number that could be divided by 19; also he managed to get the same response to Lam and Mim.

When he pretended to be a messenger ‘Rasul’, I sent him a letter on 30/7/88 and asked 8 questions and he did not answer a single one. I will bring here questions seven to eight because it deals with this subject of tradition (hadith) of Thaqalain to show how the Quran and Ahlel Bait have been adhere together, the letter itself is in English.

7) As you are a Messenger of God, I hope a complicated question could be easily answered. I just wonder why those close companions of the Prophet, particularly Ali, who had all evidence of a Messengership, but did not become Messenger?

The fact is that Ali after the Prophet was the highest pitch of all merits and excellencies. He had full knowledge of the earliest and the latest times. He held a perfect rank in wisdom, philosophy, commentary, grammar, jurisprudence, arithmetic, astronomy, astrology, mathematics, poetry, sermonising, preaching, rhetorics, lexicography, language of the birds etc., etc. In all these fields  of knowledge, either he was the founder or the expounder. In all sciences he had said something peculiar, which experts of that knowledge is beyond the reach of human power and understanding.

His book Nahjul Balagha stands as a monument of unparalleled insight into the affairs of mankind. What an eloquent strain it adopts to convey the most thoughtful deep sighted gems of wisdom in the most fascinating words. Reality has been  portrayed in words with full force of a powerful mastery over the language and sought.

The Prophet said about Ali, "I am the city of the knowledge and Ali is its gate. So whoever wishes to seek knowledge must come to the gate."

Abdullah Ibne Abbas, who is the precept of all later jurists was asked as to what relation there was between his own knowledge as compared to the knowledge of his cousin (Ali). His reply was to the effect, "My own knowledge is as a drop to the vast ocean of his knowledge."

Ali was well know for his piety and virtue. Most of action sprang from his innate spirit of righteousness, which did not owe his action to the circumstances of the environment as is generally the case with other pious looking people. To Ali piety implied the risking of life in the way of Truth and Justice.

Ali was more kind to every one then any one else, He was averse to doing any harm to anybody. He forget his own self to do good to others. It was part of his natural life to be oblivious to his own interests. His whole life was devoted to the service of humanity.

Ali was courageous and brave who never knew flight from the war. He was a physical strength that has been the marvel of all times. He would lift bodily most of the stalwarts of the day, as if they were mere children in his grip.

He would break open the big shutters of a gate and use it as a shield as a defensive weapon in fighting. Such a shutter ordinarily would be too heavy to moved by a number of powerful in a body.

He would at times give such a loud acclamation in the field of battle, that the brave fighters would sink in spirits in sheer awe, howsoever great might have been their numbers.

Ali's birth in Ka'aba is indisputable and unique in the history of the world. Neither a Prophet, Messenger nor a Divine saint was ever blessed with a such an honour. None was ever born in Ka'aba before Ali or after him.

Were all these qualities from Ali, not enough for him to become a Messenger?

8 )  WHY NUMBER 19

Here I would like to add to my letter something very important which I discovered through research, dealing with number 19. While I was going through, checking and counting letters of those important verses which were revealed on special occasions, I came across to a particular verse which alerted my attention. This particular verse was on 'Mubahila' which is in chapter 3 verse 60.

When I calculated letters of this verse, I found out that it consisted of 114 letters which is equivalent to 114 chapters of the Holy Quran and which can be divided by number 19.

This verse refers to the famous event of 'Mubahila' which took place in 10 A.H against the Christians of Najran. A deputation of more than sixty Christians alongwith three hundreds of their followers, headed by Abdul Masih, their chief monk-priest, came and discussed with the Prophet (s.a.w) about about the personality of Jesus. The Prophet (s.a.w) told them not to deify Jesus for he was only a mortal created by God and not God himself. When Christians did not agree to any amount of reasoning after discussion and argument, then this verse was revealed enjoining upon the Prophet (s.a.w) to call Christians to 'Mubahila' (a special contest invoking the curse of God upon the liar) which they accepted. The  'Mubahila' was arranged to take place the next day on a particular place and at the appointed hour.

On the next day the Christians came with their selected holy men, women and children and to their expectation waiting for Muhammad (s.a.w) to come with all pomp and show, equipment and a large number of his followers to over-awe them.

But when Muhammad (s.a.w) came to the field to their surprise they saw him coming only accompanied by a young man, a dignified woman under veil and two children. And they were Ali, his cousin and son-in-law, the woman was his daughter Fatima, and the children were his daughter's sons, Hassan and Hussain. The chief monk who had brought the selected group of Christians, began to gaze at the faces and exclaimed, "by God! I see the faces which if they pray to God for mountains to move from their places, the mountains will immediately move."

Addressing himself to the huge crowd of his people he said, "look there! How well confident the Muhammad (s.a.w) is! He has brought with him his nearest kins, sons and dear onses, in this 'Mubahila', and ordeal. By God, if he had any doubt or fear about his stand, he would never have

selected them and would have avoided to take part in this ordeal, or at least would have kept his near relation away from it. Now it is not advisable to contest against them, If there were no cause for fear from Qaisar of Rome, we would have embraced faith in Islam. So it would be expedient if we compromise with them on their terms and return home." All of them agreed with him. Accordingly he sent a message to the Prophet (s.a.w), saying, "We do not wish to contest with you, but would like to make peace with you." The Prophet (s.a.w) also acdepted the proposal.

Seeing the result of the calculation this verse together of the event which took place, a question came to strike me, 'What relation number 19 has with these five people?'

After careful thought, I came to the conclusion to write down their names and count each letters, then total them. To my surprise they turn out to be exactly 19 letters.

م ح م د

ع ل ي

ف ا ط م ة

ح س ن

ح س ي ن

Even though the result was very good still I was not fully satisfied. I startd to examine each letter which led me to count each of the arabic alphabet involved. This gave me a valuable result to discover 12 alphabets which form their names.

م د ح ع ل ي ف ا ط ة س ن

Someone might wonder how number 19 is releated to number 12! The real answer to this question can be found in the verse which mention number 19.

The verse itself has twelve letters! So it is without any doubt this number 19 is particular reserved for those Holy five who participated in the 'Mubahila.' Therefore Quran cannot be without them , they are the real teachers of this Holy Quran. A beautiful city with illuminating lights still require a Guide to a stranger. Without a Guide a stranger will never reach his destination.

Here I will refer to the famous sayings of the Prophet (s.a.w) which is recorded in the many traditions books.

"I leave behind me amidst you two great things, the Book of God and My Progeny (Ahlel Bait). Should you be attached to these two, never, never shall you go astray, after me, for verily these two will never be separated from other until they meet me at the Spring of Kauthar."

So now can be understood from above how numbers 19 and 12 are connected with the Quran. As far as the Quran still available with us, then those mathematical calculations regarding Ahlel Bait will remain. Again I bring the tradition (hadith) of the Prophet which he said this:

"After me there will be twelve caliphs and all from Qurash."
Until another time the discussion of Hisham and here I say:

Wal Hamdulilalih Rabil Alamin

Mohammed Yusuf

Narrated Aisha:
One day the Prophet (PBUH&HF) came out afternoon wearing a black cloak (upper garment or gown; long coat), then al-Hasan Ibn Ali came and the Prophet accommodated him under the cloak, then al-Husain came and entered the cloak, then Fatimah came and the Prophet entered her under the cloak, then Ali came and the Prophet entered him to the cloak as well. Then the Prophet recited: "Verily Allah intends to keep off from you every kind of uncleanness O' People of the House (Ahlul-Bayt), and purify you a perfect purification (the last sentence of Verse 33:33)."

In addition to what the Prophet (saw) said who are the real “Ahlul Bait”, he made the habit for six or nine months, every day after morning prayer he would passed by by the door of Fatima's house and address them with greeting as these are "MY AHLEL BAIT" and recite this verse of tat-hir 33.
